WDIC Legislative Committee Meeting (4:00 PM - 6:00 PM)
WDIC Members,
The WDIC has scheduled its first Legislative Advocacy meeting for the fiscal year to be held on August 17th at 4pm. It will take place at F&L Construction which is located at 1512 Good Hope Road SE, 20020.
This will be an important meeting as we will be discussing time-sensitive issues dealing with the CBE legislation, among which are how we can best effect change to the law and close certain loop-holes which have proved damaging to CBE sub-contractors and CBE contractors in joint-venture relationships. We only have small window of time to resolve these matters. Lee Smith, Director of DSLBD, is confirmed to attend this meeting.
